On the Trail

Lost Bridge

Last week Lisa with the volunteers and some of the midweek workers got the Jubilee Trail steps at Gullet started. At the bottom the stream is in two parts – so – two bridges. Then it rained, and rained and rained and then there was one bridge. Ah well, just got to move it now. [...]

The Jubilee Trail at Gullet Wood

Yesterday the Jubilee Trail was started. This will give us a great circular walk around Gullet Wood starting at the car park or the stile to Easterpark. Robertsons delivered the timber, luckily they could lift it over the wall so it saved carrying all the steps and stobs the 200 – 300 yards from the [...]

Just back from Easterpark where there’s a pair of bluetits feeding their young in one of the nestboxes Baby getting a bit anxious and looking out for mum and dad, well maybe just hungry.
